Low Protein Flour | 150 g |
Water | 300 ml |
Carrot (grated) | 25 g |
Cooking soda | 1 tsp |
Oil to grease | 2-3 tsp |
Salt to taste |
Method:
- In a blender take Low Protein Flour and water, grind it to make a thick batter
- Transfer the batter to the bowl and add salt, cooking soda and mix it well
- Grease the idli moulds with oil
- Add 5 g of carrot on each idli mould
- Pour the batter immediately onto the idli mould
- Steam them on medium flame for 15 minutes or till the idlis are cooked completely
- Serve soft idlis with onion chutney, tomato chutney or vegetable curry (avoid pulses, soya, peas, dal and sprouted pulses)
