Low Protein Flour Instant Carrot Idli-Pristine Balance Metanutrition
Ingredients Quantity
Low Protein Flour 150 g
Water 300 ml
Carrot (grated) 25 g
Cooking soda 1 tsp
Oil to grease 2-3 tsp
Salt to taste



  • In a blender take Low Protein Flour and water, grind it to make a thick batter
  • Transfer the batter to the bowl and add salt, cooking soda and mix it well
  • Grease the idli moulds with oil
  • Add 5 g of carrot on each idli mould
  • Pour the batter immediately onto the idli mould
  • Steam them on medium flame for 15 minutes or till the idlis are cooked completely
  • Serve soft idlis with onion chutney, tomato chutney or vegetable curry (avoid pulses, soya, peas, dal and sprouted pulses)
