Low Protein Flour Instant Idli Plain
Ingredients Quantity
Low Protein Flour 150 g
Water 300 ml
Cooking soda ½ tsp
Oil to grease 2-3 tsp
Salt to taste



  • In a blender take Low Protein Flour and water, grind it make a thick batter
  • Transfer the batter to the bowl and add salt, cooking soda and mix it well
  • Pour the batter immediately onto greased idli moulds
  • Steam them on medium flame for 15 minutes or till the idlis are cooked completely
  • Serve soft idlis with onion chutney, tomato chutney or vegetable curry (avoid pulses, soya, peas, dal and sprouted pulses)
