Low Protein Flour Masala Roti-Pristine Balance Metanutrition
Ingredients Quantity
Low Protein Flour 125 g
Water 75 ml
Cumin/jeera 1 tsp
Curry leaves 6-8
Red chili powder 2-3 tsp
Ghee ½ tsp
Salt to taste



  • In a large mixing bowl take Low protein flour, jeera, red chili powder, salt and curry leaves
  • Mix so that everything is combined well
  • Add 2-4 tbsp of hot oil and mix well
  • Gradually add the water and knead to form a workable dough (do not rest the dough)
  • Shape the dough into a small ball and roll it to make thin round roti
  • Heat 1/4th tsp of ghee in a griddle or skillet over medium heat
  • Place the roti in the ghee and fry about 10 to 15 seconds. Flip the roti over and fry
  • Masala roti is ready to be served
