Low Protein Flour Nippatu-Pristine Balance Metanutrition
Ingredients Quantity
Low Protein Flour 125 g
Water 75 ml
Cumin ½ tsp
Curry leaves 6-8
Red chili powder 2-3 tsp
Hot oil 2-4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

 

Method:

  • To a bowl add Low Protein Flour, jeera, red chili powder, salt and curry leaves
  • Mix well to combine
  • Add 2-4 tbsp of hot oil over the flour
  • Add water little by little and knead to make a soft but stiff dough
  • Divide the dough into 2-3 equal parts, make into balls, and roll out each ball like a slightly thick paratha
  • With the help of a cookie cutter or the lid of a bottle, cut into round shapes
  • Heat oil and deep fry the nippatus, on a medium flame till they turn golden brown and crisp
  • Drain off on to a kitchen paper to remove excess oil
  • Serve with chutney, or plain
