Ingredients | Quantity |
Low Protein Flour | 200 g |
Water | 200 ml |
Cumin/jeera | 1 tsp |
Green chili (finely chopped) | 2-3 |
Curry leaves | 6-8 |
Oil to grease | 2-3 tsp |
Salt to taste |
Method:
- In a bowl take Low protein flour, jeera, chopped green chilies, curry leaves and salt
- Add water little by little and prepare a soft dough
- Take a small marble-sized dough and roll it using palms, next bring the edges together, seal it and make rings
- Place the rings onto greased idli moulds
- Steam them on medium flame for 15 minutes or till the rings are cooked completely
- Finally, serve the rings with onion or tomato chutney
