Low Protein Flour Steamed Rings
Ingredients Quantity
Low Protein Flour 200 g
Water 200 ml
Cumin/jeera 1 tsp
Green chili (finely chopped) 2-3
Curry leaves 6-8
Oil to grease 2-3 tsp
Salt to taste



  • In a bowl take Low protein flour, jeera, chopped green chilies, curry leaves and salt
  • Add water little by little and prepare a soft dough
  • Take a small marble-sized dough and roll it using palms, next bring the edges together, seal it and make rings
  • Place the rings onto greased idli moulds
  • Steam them on medium flame for 15 minutes or till the rings are cooked completely
  • Finally, serve the rings with onion or tomato chutney
