Low Protein Flour Sweet Diamond Cuts-Pristine Balance Metanutrition
Ingredients Quantity
Low Protein Flour 100 g
Water 20 ml
Powdered sugar 50 g
Ghee ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

 

Method:

  • In a blender grind the sugar to a powder. Keep a little aside to decorate
  • In a bowl add Low Protein Flour, the rest of the powdered sugar, salt and water. Mix well
  • Add ½ tsp of ghee while mixing and knead to make a soft but stiff dough
  • Pinch off a ball of dough and roll into a thin disc or circle
  • Using a sharp knife, make lines horizontally and vertically to get diamond shapes
  • Separate each piece and arrange it side by side on a kitchen paper or a plate
  • Heat a pan with oil and when hot add the cuts or pieces in a single layer
  • Deep fry over medium low flame till golden brown and drain on a kitchen paper
  • Sprinkle sugar powder on diamond cuts
  • Sweet diamond cuts are ready to be served
